The Story Behind We Are Artistic

I'm Edie, a neurodivergent teen in high school, who does photography, visual arts, performing arts, and music as a hobby. I wanted to create a community for artists because I am passionate about art, supporting artists and their talents. I started We Are Artistic in 7th grade in 2019 as a small Facebook group so I could create a supportive and welcoming community for artists, a place where they could share their creations without being judged, and a place where artists could be themselves and get support for free.

Support for artists can go a long way and make artists happy, but yet so many places charge and often artists get judged and have to deal with annoying people asking for free art and other annoying phrases, but now artists don't have to worry about that because we make it easy to get support & connect with other artists for free. 

Everyday our community continues to support artists of all ages & all kinds and find new ways to do so. We now support artists in a variety of ways, including Artist Support Posts, Features, and Direct Messages, as well as on a variety of platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Discord, and others.
