At We Are Artistic, we offer a kind, welcoming, and safe environment where volunteers ages 13 and up can work on fun projects, build new skills, and collaborate with genuinely cool people. We’re flexible, accommodating, and committed to helping you grow, whether you’re brand‑new to volunteering or already experienced.

Fill out our interest form and select the role you’re interested in. You’re not locked into that role, you can always change later.
After submitting, you’ll receive an email with an invite to our volunteer Discord. Joining Discord is required so you can receive updates, instructions, and event info.
Due to the high volume of student volunteers, we can no longer sign community service forms more than 48 hours after the service was completed. Any forms (virtual or in-person volunteering forms) submitted after 48 hours is considered retroactive, and we are not able to sign it. To ensure your hours are verified, please submit your form within the 48‑hour window.

You can apply directly through Idealist or express interest via email.
We interview all applicants because we believe you are more than a résumé or application. Interviews are typically scheduled within 48 hours to 2 days after you apply, and you will hear whether you received the role 1–2 days after your interview.
We look to make sure you are a good fit for our team, that you understand the role, and that you’re committed to the work, not just the title. If you don’t receive the role, you’re welcome to volunteer in that team or department or apply for other positions. We understand that someone may not be the right fit for one role but could be a great fit for another. We also know people learn, grow, and develop over time, and we’re always happy to see applicants return when they’re ready for a different leadership opportunity.

24 Frames of Change is a community service-based internship program dedicated towards developing the minds of talented young filmmakers and spreading messages of positive change across communities in the United States. It is a 9-week program where students meet for an hour 1-2 times per week to learn about each step of the filmmaking process. During this time, participants select a topic affecting their local community that they are passionate about covering.
Together, participants can choose to form groups or work individually to create a short film PSA about their topic and how their community can improve. This program will help young students expand their portfolio as well as learn communication skills, filmmaking techniques, and collaboration. Students may earn 20 hours of community service after showing their film to 3 community partners or members. Community members and partners get access to use the film for outreach. (IN ORDER TO RECEIVE COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS, STUDENTS *MUST* ATTEND MEETINGS, FINISH THEIR SHORT FILM, AND SHOW THEIR FILM TO 3 COMMUNITY MEMBERS OR PARTNERS).

Flute Circles offer a chance for people to, not only learn how to play on the Native American Flute, but for them to learn how to express themselves through music.
